You're absolutely not too old. If you do start to feel regret you have plenty of time of new experiences dating or otherwise. 40 is the time to let loose you gave a full frontal lobe to make so calculated risky decisions! Have fun with these years!

I am 44 and I don' t think about myself as old. Also I am at age where I don't care about men and relationships. All I regret is that I didn't had money so I could save it and buy myself home. Who cares about men in our age. We are not teens.

I didn't date very much when I was younger. Hardly at all - fearful avoidant. I'm in my late 40s now, and I've been seeing someone I would have previously considered out of my league for around a year. People don't have expiration dates. Who knows if it'll work out in the long run, but so what? If you think you'll regret it later, it's worth trying. I think it's much harder to regret what you never did than it is to try and fail.
