@sharing.lov3: When I first met Rosalind last week, I immediately fell in love with her. I saw a broken, deeply scared dog, but also a soul with so much love to give. She wanted to trust us, but fear was holding her back. Volunteers were not able to take her outside on a walk because she completely shut down once the leash was on. The day I met her, I decided to carry her outside and place her in the sun. I stayed with her for a long time, along with other volunteers, and little by little she started to open up. On Christmas Day, I shared her video and told her story. I asked for someone patient and loving, someone willing to help her come out of her shell and show her that the world is not as scary as it once felt, and that good people still exist. That same day, Dr. Andy saw her video. He reached out to ask if she was still there and said he would be there the very next morning when the shelter opened, hoping to adopt her. And that is exactly what he did. When we took Rosalind outside to meet him, she was like a completely different dog. Her tail was wagging, she was happy and excited, almost as if she knew this was her day. Almost as if she knew he was there for her. Donna @Bella Rubee , a wonderful volunteer was also there to help her out and reassure that she would be okay! 🥹❤️‍🩹 Thank you so much, Dr. Andy, for saving our precious Rosalind.
