If the battery is completely drained or has a bad cell it acts just like a bad starter

Get a new battery. If that doesn’t fix it try to tighten your starter selenoid nuts. Or get a new selenoid

Swap a good battery in to test. If it still clicks then jump the solenoid with a screwdriver. I bet it’s a solenoid issue and not a starter issue.

The starter solenoid is faulty, open the solenoid and use some sand paper and sand the plunger an contactors and it’ll be good

Get a good battery and test the starter when it’s off of the truck just to see if it works in general
