I have one of these. I'm 5'8 and I started at 240 and I'm at 209 now. This pad absolutely took me there. I was/am hard on it. BUT and this is important. If you are a TALL woman it will take you longer to 10k due to having to shorten your stride somewhat. I use the pad when I cannot walk outside, because I can get my 10k faster outdoors. But it has come in clutch on cold, hot, rainy or I want to watch TV while I do this days. Well worth it.
