No. 2 has a very interesting world but badly executed. His books read like unedited web novels and he barely improves his writing. (An example of his terrible writing: spends 70 pages explaining the new skills of the side character. Following that he spends the next 70 pages explaining the skills of the side character's BFF) No. 2 is just plain boring imo.

I've read the top 6 and personally hate Primal Hunter. I've never read a book series where the main character has no redeemable qualities, and I got through the first two books before I gave up.

I listen to the first chapter of dcc but it felt to like a kids book does it get better at all and less ig goofy lol im trying to start it after Morningstar but idk :/ people said it has really sad moments
