Oof. As a practicing Christian, this video was an L, brother. If we truly do hold the Bible to be sacred scripture, we have to demonstrate that we are capable and willing to critically examine it and see it for what it is. Not all fairy tails, but also not all historical. It’s rife with history, legend and myth — but a LOT of myth and legend. Many of the major narrative passages are ahistorical.

I’m trying to become a believer & study the Bible & follow Christ & all that, so this inquiry comes in all earnest - but what do you mean “without contradiction”? There are literally hundreds of times the Bible directly contradicts itself, which is one of the reasons I’m having a tough time with it. Not trying to be combative or snarky; I’m just confused and don’t know what to believe. 🤷🏻‍♀️
