In my defense, I thought you were saying Erica was 9. You had been talking about how Erica “looks like an adult” and I missed the phrase when you switched to Holly. But if you want to talk about Holly, let’s focus on her. As of this season she is 9-10 years old. Is this a retcon? Yeah. Is it indefensible? No. Every character looks older than they should and the time skip should have been bigger, but the Duffers clearly wanted the boys to still be in high school and for Max to not be stuck for too long. With that said, I think Nell Fisher plays a convincing 9-10 year old. I teach kids this age every week and she does not seem like she would stick out in one of my classes.

It was actually twin girls up until the new season. They appeared younger than they were more so than Nell fisher who replaced them filming season 5. From what I learned they didn’t take the part because they are focusing on cheerleading not acting.

Ok look I’m gonna clear stuff out and how I found out Holly’s age without looking it up. In season five, Holly’s 7 and Erica’s 11. Each season is a year so back in season 1 Wich was 4 years in the past hollys 3 and season one takes place in 1983 so we do 1983-3 and that equals 1980. So add that up to 1989 Wich is
