'Moloch' is an misvocalization of the Hebrew word 'Melech' for 'King'; that the sacrifices to Moloch were really sacrifices to the king. 'The king', according to some, was probably just another name for the same monotheistic god that the Hebrews worshiped, which is Jahweh. there was no pagan god involved. later, the name became poorly vocalized and misinterpreted as if there were a pagan god. moloch and baal are evil figures from the bible, no connection to paganism but christians often do this to manipulate shit to fit their worldview :/

Moloch isn't a demon or a god. It was a concept or description of a certain kid of sacrifice. Mostly describing the sacrifice of children but the children could be substituted for money and or animals.
