We did this in our basement as well. Much easier than trying to hang a suspended ceiling with ugly tiles and different levels with our plumbing and vents.

How did you clean the ceiling to prep before painting? Mine currently has a false hanging ceiling and I imagine it’s dusty and full of cob webs between the joints right now.

They make extensions for the paint gun so you don’t have to reach

I know it’s not NECESSARY but don’t forget you can always TINT your primer to better match or exactly match your paint color for better coverage! Even black ☺️but it’s looking good! Great job! 👏👏

You can also take a little of that paint into the store for them to color match it for you. That way you'd always have some extra on hand for tpuchups if needed too

Can I recommend the 12 inch extension pole so you aren’t stretching out so much. Might make the process slightly more comfortable.
