Tueller Drill aka "21 Foot Drill:" use of lethal force against a knife-wielding suspect is legally permitted *if* the suspect is =/<21 feet from another person, in all US jurisdictions. Studies and court precedents have justified this drill; it's just enough time to reasonably draw a pistol from its holster and shoot from the hip in self-defense while retreating from a charging knife-wielding suspect. Cops don't need to warn you if you have a knife within 21 feet of another person.

yeah, this was totally preventable...I could've easily subdue her with my bare hands...I'm dead serious and not making light of the situation, I could.The female officer got the instructions to tase and...Easy lawsuit.
