I’m a fine arts teacher. It’s normal for kids not to be allowed to participate in extra curricular activities if they are failing or have received an office referral for that grading term. It’s actually state law here.

What about the effect on his victim. Her poor baby lost his part in the school play. She (or he) was SA’d. But the school is “doing this to him”, and she can’t believe it. Her son has never faced consequences in his life, has gotten away with everything. And she obviously never taught him that other people are people, have rights, have autonomy, and deserve respect.
