You measured the bore wrong. You need to install a torque plate to show actual piston to wall clearance. I’ve seen a swing of .001-.003” once a torque plate is installed.

I hope you lubricated the screws for the final assembly. It should be mentioned in the assembly instructions, otherwise the tightening torque will be incorrect.
