in Greece's public hospitals you should book your own anesthesiologist for epidural. You can find someone in the hospital and I think that you pay them separately

I gave birth on a C Section: best thing ever happend to me! Even if I didn’t wanted before end up doing ! I had the best experience and I walked like in the next couple of hours. I didn’t felt any pain! Nothing ! Different people - different stories

So if someone doesn’t manage natural birth how do they rush to c section without epidural? Do they put you to sleep like 30 years ago? I gave birth in Greece in public hospitals and they all had it…

Γέννησα 3 παιδιά .στα πρώτα δύο δν έκανα τπτ φυσιολογικοί τοκετοί .ολα καλά.στο τρίτο έκανα επισκληρίδειο με φυσιολογικό τοκετό.εδω και 6 μήνες μετά την γέννα η μέση μου με έχει πεθάνει .τα συμπεράσματα δικά σας .καλα έκανες κ δν την έκανες !να σου ζήσει το μωράκι !

I completely agree with you..you should always do what's best for you and your child. It's your life and your body, and no one, and I mean no one, has the right to dictate your choices, whether they justify it with philosophy, tradition, or anything else. None of that matters. What matters is you and your family. I was shamed by my mother in law for choosing to have a C-section when neither my doctor nor I could understand why my baby remained so high and hadn't descended in preparation for birth. I had a bad feeling that something wasn't right, so I trusted my instincts and chose a C-section. It turned out my baby could never have been born naturally due to a short umbilical cord. My second baby faced the same issue and was tangled in the cord as well. If I had attempted natural birth, I would have labored for 10-12 hours with no progress, only to end up needing an emergency C-section anyway. According to my mother in law, a woman should endure pain to "prove" she tried, and a C-section is just "the easy way out." That judgment left deep wounds that took months of therapy to heal. I'm grateful that she's been irrelevant to my life ever since. Sorry for the yapping..just wanted you to know that you rock and I admire your strength! I wish you a happy and joyful year ahead for you and your family. Take good care of yourself!
