This! I have a ton of Harry Potter stuff I want to get rid of. Could I go on eBay or such and flip some for a decent price? Sure. But I’m lazy so Facebook market place is getting it $5-$15 pending how big the item is.

I blame flippers. Because you have so many people (middle men) trying to get even a meager profit off every product everywhere. No one wants to be the final bagholder when no one wants to purchase near MSRP but they think they’ll be the one to squeeze the last bit of juice

No actually why am I finding stuff on FB marketplace for the SAME price it retails for… what is wrong with some of yall??? I literally saw some heavily used, stained/discolored ugg tasmans for $110... The whole point of FB marketplace, offer up, and other resale apps is that you sell it lower than what you bought it for bc it’s USED. Why would I pay you retail or near retail price when I can make it easier on myself and just buy it at the store or online? Whole point is it’s supposed to be a deal😂

No, I don’t even think it should be sold for the same price. If you’re putting something on Facebook marketplace, your next step is the curb. It should be heavily discounted.

“Its already built” yeah which is why its a logistical headache to get to to my house and up my stairs? Wayfair would deliver to my door at minimum, & will bring it all the way in and build it for a lil extra.

I don’t even sell brand new stuff for full price. I sold a brand new, still sealed controlled recently for $20 less than retail value

The only time I would accept this is if they just bought it &’ didn’t like it, or it didn’t fit once they built it- but on the other hand, you probably can’t really trust that nowadays😭
