Never ever ever ever buy a used car seat. Only accept a hand me down car seat from very close friends that you trust with your child’s life. You don’t know if that car seat as ever been in an accident. You don’t know if the previous owner cleaned it safely, or if they destroyed it with chemicals or by soaking it. Car seats also expire, and this will likely be expired by the time you do have a child.

I’m a NICU nurse and one time a mom brought in a car seat from FB marketplace and turns out it had roaches hiding inside of it😭 we had to close the nursery for a week

I have a baby box! And I approve of this purchase!! I’ve been buying things that I see at the store for a nonexistent baby and I have a baby box now because my mentality is it’s not gonna be this price and it’s not gonna be in store when I have a baby so I need it now🤣

This is possibly unsafe since it’s been used and you don’t know its history. Car seats are something you don’t want to mess around with risking. Please don’t use this.
