here's that main issues with those junk things. if you use it from corner to first stud your layout is off immediately. Secondly, not all studs are equal meaning not every 2x is EXACTLY 1 1/2". if you get 8 that are 1/16th more narrow then you're 1/2" off layout. 🙄🙄

“It takes all the guess work out”. Uhm……a tape measure takes 100% of the guess work out of framing. Actually pretty easy 😂😂😂😂😂

Tools like these aren’t made for professionals that can frame that whole wall solo in 20 minutes. It’s for DIY people that want to do some work themselves. They’re extremely convenient

I can’t believe all the expert carpenters putting these down. They don’t want anyone doing their own projects because it costs them. Do good work at a reasonable price and you will not have to be threatened by a product that helps do it yourself people save money
