@mila.magnani: I failed my goals for almost a decade straight. And even when I did everything ‘right,’ the results never lasted. And no it’s nothing to do with discipline I thought I was inconsistent, but I was just forgetting the 5 most important rules for any woman… Here are the five things I always do before the beginning of each year: 1️⃣ Write down every goal you want. Go big. And Don’t pull back. But then, pick only three goals to focus on. Flares may happen. You can quickly get overwhelmed if you set too many goals. But remember that setbacks don’t mean failure.
2️⃣ Are there any goals there from last year? Ask yourself: “Why am I not there yet?” Whatever habit, gap, or symptom keeps coming up? That’s your starting point. investigate and focus on correcting it: - nervous system regulation - better food choices - leaving toxic situations - lab work deficiency - etc!!! Now, this is where most people get it wrong… 3️⃣ Please don’t go hard when it comes to workouts Instead of 75 hard, try 60 day soft, or 75 soft, or even better- make your own custom routine One is not better than the other, it’s just that one is more sustainable AND is less likely to flare you Sustainable movement beats intensity every time!!! But if you engage in either… 4️⃣ don’t forget to support your hormone health During this time of the year, everyone will remind you to eat your protein, drink gallons of water, eat healthy, workout, but no one talks about how supporting our hormone health is crucial for us Rest up, supplement, I use @milamendhealth, get lab work done, and address any deficiencies you may have (this can go in hand with step 2️⃣) 5️⃣ This matters because your nervous system and endocrine system run everything. “Genetics load the gun. Lifestyle pulls the trigger.” Taking care of your endocrine system is key to keep symptoms at bay, but it starts with a calm nervous system. Meditate, sleep enough, eat well, exercise, then supplement if needed. The slower the progress, the more likely it sticks. And remember, flares happen, and that’s ok because you’re getting the opportunity to learn how to take better care of your body 🧡 #pcostips #pcosproblems #pcosawareness #hormonehealth #pcossupport
