i find it kinda sad that people are mad they are not lovers... The movie is too beautiful and deep for it to be reduced to a romantic relationship... If you're frustrated i feel like you kinda missed the point, i understand the confusion at first, the mystery is part of the plot, but at the end it should all make sense about the ghosts of Anna's past, her pain (and Marnies). It's like an unconscious investigation about her own demons and not just about Marnie. Love is a too vast feeling for it to only be romantic ! There are so many things to say about that movie and the book (they both broke me) Forever my favourite ghibli❤️🩹

pada salah paham gini, apa lagi orang luar.. gua jelasin pendapat gua.. gua ngerasa si Anna ini suka blush karna dapat perhatian, perhatian layaknya teman? kaya menurut ku Anna ga punya teman, pas dia liat marnie juga dia aga Dejavu kan? mungkin KALO gua di posisi Anna juga bakal ngeblush, apa lagi pandangan pertama ngerasa Dejavu.

até hj eu penso como foi um plot perfeito, Anna era jovem ela não vai Marnie como uma paixão e sim como uma amiga algo que ela nunca teve verdadeiramente, até a sua mae adotiva que poderia ser uma amiga de Anna, ela duvidou por causa do dinheiro, então amadurecer é entender que Anna amava marnie como uma amiga que nunca teve, e pra quem leva pro lado romântico é só ver que Anna amou ainda mais Marnie quando descobriu que ela era sua vó, e sem contar que as cenas românticas de mais era porque Anna estava na visão de kasuhiko o avô de Anna marido de Marnie.
