@book.of.kat: Yesterday, I had my first PET scan. Here are some of the tips that others shared with me that were helpful. Normally, my husband comes with me to appointments. I had him sit this one out which I’m thankful for. This one has been one of the easiest so far (minus the extra pokes from missing my vein 😬). If your significant other needs to pick and choose appointments due to work, I’d pick to sit this one out. Please share any other tips in comments to help others that are going through this journey.
