🌺 O‘AHU, HAWAI‘I | DAY 1 🌴✈️ Landed in Hawai‘i! 🌺 And of course, the first thing we had to do was EAT! 🤭 📍 Foodland 🍣 @Foodland Hawaii We heard so many good things about Foodland’s poke, especially how delicious and affordable it is, so we had to try it! There were SO many poke options that it was honestly overwhelming trying to choose. 😂 We ended up getting 3 poke rice bowls ranging from $7.99–$10.99 and a bowl of just poke for around $22! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth the price. Compared to what we spent on poke during our last Hawai‘i trip, this was such a good deal! Highly recommend! ⭐️ 🏨 Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort @hilton After grabbing food, we headed to our hotel to check in, but unfortunately, our room wasn’t ready even though all our friends had gotten theirs. 🥲 After a long travel day, a headache, and being completely exhausted, all I wanted was a nap! At least we got to enjoy our poke with a beautiful beach view while waiting. 🌊 Eventually, I went back to check on our room, and it turned out it was suddenly ready! We didn’t get the notification until we were already inside. 😅 After some much-needed rest, we met up with friends and their kids at the pool before heading to dinner! 📍 Doraku Sushi 🍶🍤 Located right inside our hotel! It started raining, so some hot sake was perfect to warm us up. 🍶 Our friend ordered fried rice that they mixed right at the table, which was fun to watch! Since we were still pretty full from poke, we shared some spicy garlic shrimp and soft-shell crab.
