@mickmicknyc: Important info if you’re planning to come to Times Square for New Year’s Eve 🎆 The official Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration is free and first come, first served. There are no tickets required to stand in Times Square. Public viewing areas typically open in the afternoon and fill up quickly. Once you enter a viewing area, you cannot leave and re-enter, and there are no bathrooms inside, so plan ahead. If you see tickets for sale, those are for private parties, rooftops, or restaurants, not the official celebration. I’m sharing this so people know what to expect and don’t end up paying for something they don’t need.
