Get a pcr for flu and covid! My rapid came back negative but the pcr was positive for flu A and I have all of the same symptoms, it’s horrible

Hey hunny! It may be time to visit a provider. While it is probably this nasty flu, it could definitely turn into a pneumonia. And it sounds like you struggle with asthma which isn’t something you wanna mess with. They could even give you a steroid to help you get back on your feet. Feel better soon! <3

My daughter actually JUST got back from the doctor because I thought she HAD to have the flu, gave her a home Covid/flu test, it was negative across the board 😐 it’s just “mystery virus” according to the pediatrician, it’s going around right now. That said, it sounds like you may ALSO have a sinus infection 😭

Could it be strep throat? That’s going around like crazy right now! And as someone who had strep regularly as a kid it doesn’t always present as a sore throat! I hope you get to feeling better soon!

My flu A test came back negative but that’s what I had. My husband went to the ER because his fever wouldn’t go down and they tested him there and he was positive. So we all got treatment and we got better in just 2 days!

I tested negative on day 3, but day 6 the whole family was positive for flu A on rapid tests. Two weeks later and I’m still recovering.
