I am a 65 year-old retired 40 year Teamster Union member. My Union dues were $100/month, twice the average hourly rate. I had a great hourly wage, got overtime and doubletime, five weeks paid vacation, paid time off for holidays, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401k with a company match, a safe working environment, a guaranteed pension by the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. The Teamsters Union negotiated my $3800/month pension for the rest of my life and my life expectancy is 93 years old. Cheers 🍸 🍸
