@ernietheplutus: What is a Roth IRA? If you’re not qualified, are you using a back door Roth conversion? On top of that are you utilizing mega backdoor Roth conversion? If your answer is no to one of these, then you need to watch this video. #TikTokCreatorSearchInsightsIncentive #rothira #megabackdoorroth #educatoraward #learnontiktokcontest
A lot of employer 401k plans don’t allow the mega backdoor Roth…..

Hi Ernie. I am planning to retire soon. I'm 64, I'll be 65 in July. I want to rollover my 401k to my Roth IRA. Will this affect my IRRMA for Medicare?

Tax on pretax distributions from your 401k is ordinary income and not “capital gains”

Is there a cap or an annual limit in regards to the mega backdoor?

I do what is called a split direct roll over mega back door Roth. Basically I roll over my non Roth after tax 401k quarterly to my traditional and Roth IRAs. The cost basis goes to my Roth IRA and the Earnings goes to my traditional IRA. Doing it this way. There is no taxable event triggered for the year i am doing this maneuver.

Can you elaborate on Catch up contributions for 50+? Also my company allows Roth 401k contributions directly from my check.

If im maxing my company 401k roth and my roth ira, is it wise to invest in my company after tax option, then convert those to roth ira when I retire? I don't wont have the same income so I wondered if thats the time to do it

I thought you needed to contribute to traditional Ira and then convert to Roth ira. Not to 401k to Roth ira.

Did the MBDR with carry. Now looking at issuing the 1099-R with zenwork 1099. Or maybe efile directly with iRS website. Still looking into this and looking at how to rollout of carry IRA to fidelity.

Ernie! Please look into c corps since LLC’s are a pass thru entities. Dewayne Williams teaches c corps on TT and it is very eye opening. Tons of free information. I love your content and truly appreciate you! 👏
