@maryspender: Some songs live in your bones long before you ever play them. I’d been a fan of @joshua_lee_turner for years, and although we’d already played and filmed together by this point, this one still felt special. He’s an absolute pro. Calm, musical, generous. Every time. I flew to New York and we rehearsed and filmed almost simultaneously, which means this “one take” is technically take fifteen. But all seven minutes are the same take. No editing. I’m fairly sure I was responsible for most of the earlier casualties. Huge love to Kelly Oden behind the camera as well, choreographing the movement so it all felt as fluid as the music. Five million views later, I think this video did the song proud.
