Mechanical tension on targeted muscle from good form, muscle to mind connection, results in a pump from time under tension

DOMS isn't muscle damage, that continues throughout intense working out. DOMS is mostly tendon soreness and shock when going from inactive to intense effort, which goes away quickly. And the pump is actually correlated (not a cause) of growth. There's a bidirectional relationship between the inflammation and water draw of the pump and the stimulus that builds muscle.

myth 5 is kinda not 100% true, when you progressive overload and lift heavier weight than previously, therefore hitting higher stimulus threshold, you can be sore for a while, until body adapts to new stress and this happens in blink of an eye.

I thought controlling the weight (myth 4) is better than using momentum to lift? Because that just brings in other muscles other than the one you’re training

And how should I workout and not get sore, I always get sore after my workouts, and I also see improvements in power and esthetics, but my muscles do hurt alot after every session

4 is just wrong. High weight, low reps along with slow yet strong momentum is a golden recipe for power and mass. Argue with a tree.

Honestly after starting 3 months ago I never felt that sore except really bad on the day I started and a bit when I started taking creatine, maybe I don’t push myself enough but I’ve seen a ton of growth
