Been in the service business for 20 years. As the season goes on I get slower getting out the invoicesI.I Invoice the national company type first..Then the smallest farmers last…The fastest paying is the smallest farmers…

I got the same thing last year from a doctors office billed after 14 months and they wanted it paid immediately. I called them up and told them I just paid all my bills for the month and there was nothing left and I would pay them when I could afford it. It couldn’t be that important after 14 months

Well the point is after a couple years people forget or the money is used for something else and not in the budget anymore, and then two years later a big bill comes in the mail unexpectedly. I'd be pissed too

I mail the invoices and they mail the checks. If the customer chooses to pay in person great. But I’m not showing up to anyone’s house to collect money.

I thought you handled that as well as it you could of, move on from the situation and probably not use there service in the future. I would also of been pretty displeased if they mentioned I'll come by the house considering they've never sent invoice.

had a similar situation, but different. I pay a per acre tech fee that's supposed to be invoiced monthly. I wasn't getting invoices, so I called, and was informed I had a zero balance. each December I got a frantic, apologetic phone call that I owed for the entire year. I was offered to drag it out as much as needed, but I paid in full each time (I believe). one December i threw a fit, said if they can't do better neither could I...i now get monthly invoices
