It should not be cold, but sometimes it is by the time it gets to seeing some places don’t always keep them on heaters or such when they’re finished

So glad you got to try Texas BBQ! I am insanely jealous, it looks sooo good!! I’ve always wanted to visit so I can also try the food! Many people have said but I recommend some Mexican street tacos. It’s going to take some research but the best ones are privately owned(mom and pop place). If it’s a chain Mexican restaurant, it’s probably not going to be good or it’s overpriced.

many places will let the meat sit for awhile after cooking. this prevents overcooking but it shouldn't be cold. it can happen though. you can just ask for them to warn it up. it's normal
