My fiancé is in remission and literally your excitement is spot on! People don’t realize how draining this disease is or even the joys of not having to get colonoscopy. Together 8 years and he’s had at least 4 and thankfully we don’t until 2027!

So happy for you. I pray every day that my husband could get results like this but he's been through so much especially the past 6yrs! Life support TWICE for over a month each time, his bowels ruptured & he had a 10hr surgery, not one but TWO ileostomy bags at THE SAME time for almost 2yrs then a reconnection surgery, surgery on an abscess twice, two longterm hospital stays one was for almost 3 months the other was for almost 4 months, he had a DEADLY reaction to a biologic medication ended up with a major infection in his lungs from it, I was told that he wouldn't make it & that I needed to "make arrangements", he was life flighted to a major hospital where he weighed 200lbs when he went in & weighed only 118lbs when he was released. To say we've been through HELL is an understatement & these things are just a few things that he's been through! People think Crohns "oh a stomach ache" NO! IT'S A THIEF OF ONES QUALITY OF LIFE. It reacts to food/nutrients as poison to one's body! It's debilitating to say the least!
