My husband doesn’t understand the work/maintance our reef tank takes…I can’t even have conversations with him about it because it is truly speaking a different language to him. The work it takes to keep coral’s alive and thriving has been something I have struggled with for such a long time. It takes so much time and consistent work/monitoring, and observing. Checking water parameters…daily, the dosing, the strict $$$ lighting, the water movement/specific flow, the this…the that!!!! The holy you don’t even knooooow!

so just got my first tank like 6 months ago. 10 gallon and quickly upgraded to 33 long. heavy plants. several filters finding what I wanted. I feel like im probably 2k in already. all my trial and error. and I love it!

Just switched to saltwater 🔥 can’t wait still not done ima add more live rock the local aquarium store said start basic and once im more into and understand the saltwater life to add coral and other stuff
