@invest796: In one episode of Futurama, Fry accidentally leaves 93 cents in his bank account before being frozen for 1,000 years. When he wakes up in the future, that tiny amount has grown to $4.3 billion, thanks to compound interest. The show casually dropped one of the best visual lessons in how time and consistent growth can build unimaginable wealth - no lectures, just a hilarious sci-fi plotline that made the point better than most econ professors ever could. 93 cents → $4.3 billion. That's the power of compound interest. #Futurama #CompoundInterest #EconomicsMadeEasy #FinanceHumor #MoneyTips
this is exactly why people need to understand how compounding works.

Jared :
that 98 cents would have bought a cheeseburger add inflation and that will buy him a half a cheeseburger now 😂 I made 5$hr as a kid (minimum wage) whoppers were 1.08 after taxes. I could get 5 burgers for 1hrs work now 5 whoppers cost 40$ after taxes and minimum wage is less than 8$

Craziest part is going to be the income tax that will hit him on that interest.
