I’ve never seen any podcast or interview on my feed talking about chronic illness, it’s so isolating and lonely I forget others have it too. Ty for having her on and I can’t wait to listen 💌

For me it’s the struggle of having a toddler and chronic illness. The guilt for not being able to do as much is something else but we are handling it together ❤

For me it’s isolation and a lack of freedom that’s the worst just not being able to say oh I fancy the cinema, I fancy a walk or yeah sure I’ll meet you this day because I’ve lost all that currently and it’s hard 😭

People don't understand how exhausting it is to just get ready to actually leave the house to do anything. And it takes longer and longer to get ready to go out.

My 17 year old daughter has had a tough few years , not being able to attend school , lack of friends , she did her GCSEs at home and now doing her A levels at home . You’re right if there is something she really wants to do like a summer festival , she went and then was in bed for a week . Her life mainly consists of being at home , at my mum/dad’s or to Starbucks drive through . It’s not a normal life for her and her mental health has suffered terribly . She has ME , POTS , H-EDS and sadly now depression along with anxiety . It sucks for her but we try our best to keep her a float . I feel for anyone who has a chronic illness as I’ve seen first hand how hard and horrible this is ♥️
