Things have become so complex that the only way for all that complexity to exist in one thing is through simplicity. People go on hating modernism and minimalism without understanding it's purpose. Most think that it's just Function, yet the beauty of it is in this paradox. Okay. try to imagine all the features in an iPhone of today in the first phone made. or all the functions of a current commercial building in that of a 1900's building. Do I love the older stuff, Yes. A lot. But the hate on modern design is overrated. When you start to see that the beauty of a thing is in the problem it solves or the opportunity it creates, you stop seeing things from a shallow/simplistic point of view.
