always set the subsonic and LPF first before the gain. depending on what that box is tuned to it won't play much audible sound below tuning frequency or the frequency below that is stressing out the woofers for no real gain. so the reason for the voltage drop is unnecessary frequency with the subsonic wide open. for me it's a bit difficult to explain but the subsonic and Lpf should also be tuned.

A USB is recommended for this, yiutube only plays up to 128 KB/S and Bluetooth also compress the audio

Oh i forgot to mention after you set target voltage then you take the target voltage multiply by 0.707 then tune lpf to the number ac voltage the meter reads depending if you used a 40hz or 50hz tone for subwoofers that reading is the cutoff frequency for lpf but you can use your ears too but this is how i set mine NB and a big NB on pioneer headunits volume 46 is with all headunit settings off you want to use srtv set on 2 loudness usually on but then you cant play volume to 46 if you have speakers connected on headunit they will distort if only running amps with loudness on volume depends but its around 28/35 thats just everybodys choice i play sq not for spl so tune headunit treble loudness etc as you desire tho tested clip volume for headunit only are 60 i still woudnt use it that way i will check if i can share that voltage chart on here it helps alot on where to set the voltage so amp does not clip but best is to try find someone with oscilloscope and do both with multimeter and osc then its safe hope everybody njoys my tips as im too using this method

Slm Bru I have same pioneer head unit with 2 pioneer mids and 2 pioneer 6x9 with 2 starsound super tweeter all running on the head unit, so if play it for half hour I think the deck is getting hot because I can hear from the tweeters it's dropping power
