The tree’s glowing tiers unfold like living ecosystems of sea, land, and sky. Together, they honor Ormoc’s nature, culture, and community: the sea that provides, the land that sustains, and the sky that nurtures. Watching over them, Ormoc’s fifteen pineapple fairies pay tribute to one of the city’s most cherished harvests—the pineapple, long a symbol of Ormoc’s agricultural abundance and prosperity. Each light carries the promise of hope and the gentle reminder that to protect nature is to protect ourselves.
