Yeah, I’m not letting anyone tie my arms behind my back in my own dam house or business. I’m letting my giant, aggressively protective Great Dane handle shit. She may be a breed notoriously known as gentle giants & passive, but the second she senses me being uncomfortable, threatened or in distress, she’s taking you down & you’re def not getting back up. She’s almost 165 lbs of pure muscle & dead weight. Once she’s got you & on top of you, you’re not getting up or stopping her from taking a few chunks outta you! I had a delivery guy make the stupid decision to let himself into my front door & foyer without knocking first. He scared the shit outta me, my Dane heard me say “What The Fuck are you doing” & came flying out of another room in a full speed pounce, dropped this guy onto his back, growling & barking with her face within inches of his & wasn’t letting him up! Dude was screaming for me to help him & get the dog off of him. I didn’t call her off until he explained himself, what he was doing there & what possessed him to walk into my house without knocking first. Weirdest shit ever but thank god my dog was there, didn’t hesitate & instinctively protected me when she heard the tone of my voice & panic. He ran outta my house so fast once I got her off of him! Turned out he misunderstood my husband’s instructions on where to leave the delivery. He’ll never make that mistake again.
