FlashByKnightComics :
I need to read Far Sector. If you end up with more DC comics and hear of the Absolute Universe, Jo is the main Green Lantern for the Absolute series.

Far Sector came out at a kind of weird time, DC put out a bunch new publishing lines and I think this was under Young Animal, run by Gerard Way. Green Lantern is one of my favorite characters, I prefer Kyle Rayner.

Ayyyye welcome to comics! If you need recommendations for more black comics there’s some great ones like Killadelphia, Bitter Root, Excellence, if you want specifically Superhero Mr Terrific Year One is a great one. Theres also the Milestone books as well!

I haven’t read Far Sector but the blank panther comics are my fave. I did however allow your bad influence pressure me into reserving this at b&n 🤣🤣🤣

If you’re willing to pick up something a bit older, Dwayne McDuffie’s work on Static and Hardware are both unimpeachable.

If you are enjoying far sector and Jo, I’d recommend Absolute Green Lantern ( an elseworlds story) it follows a different version of Jo and it’s a great staring point for reading DC comics

Yes yes yesssssss! I love this one! We read this in a college class and it was my intro to NK Jemisin (probably the only person to say that 😂)

OMG ENJOY! If you enjoy Jo I’d suggest reading absolute green lantern since she reads it and maybe Zatanna by Jamal Campbell since it’s the same artist writing and drawing the story!

Welcome to the family! 👏🏿 I’d recommend the Ta-Nehisi run of Black Panther (Marvel), Nubia: Queen of the Amazons (DC), Abbott (BOOM! Studios) and Bitter Root (Image) as follow ups
