I don’t believe “everyone” can responsibly own a frenchie . I have had 7 and spend over 50k on medical expenses for them to thrive. This doesn’t include their insurance that’s over $400 monthly or cost of regular exams/food. It’s actually insane 🫠

As a Frenchie mom I wish people who want a Frenchie do their research and understand the breed — I hate that they are as popular as they are because it’s leading to bad breeding and so many abandoned in shelters because people are unprepared

Mine was born with a bad heart, and he doesn’t even cost me money. Never neen 2 the vet for an emergency…. He passes out when excited, and we once gad to give him am alergex for a bee sting. I think people “over compensate” because everyone makes such a bigg deal out of the breed. Just my 2 cents

Feed mine rice, ground turkey and raw veggies with a probiotic powder. So far so good. Blessed after 4 years without issues. Oh and buy a ramp if they sleep on the bed. Save that spine!
