I have this exact same leaf blower. There is a bag attachment that came with them and you can convert it to pick up the leaves. When craftsman was good!

the reason why the pull start only sometimes engages is because on the flywheel there are two clippes with springs that causes it to engage and one of the springs is broken or needs to be reset so only one clip is engaging. hope this helps.

I have the pull omatic. Version of this one. My carb was clogged then( I broke that fuel gasket when opening) Bought a clone carb-this fall w/ minor alteration. Works like New $free.99.👌 Keep her oil full👌
