i was rewatching the first and second movie and something interesting i noticed was in the first, a big part of the film is peter having to come to terms with whether or not being spider-man is for the love and glory, or because it’s his responsibility. why be spider-man if nobody loves you? because it’s his responsibility. 2 goes deeper into this, is spider-man an alter ego or the same person
