This is an explanation of the verses in English because I know that many people do not know Arabic :(التّائِبونَ) Those who repent
They are those who return to Allah after committing sins, feeling true remorse, abandoning the sin, and sincerely resolving not to return to it. //(العابِدونَ) Those who worship
They worship Allah alone with sincerity, fulfilling obligatory acts and voluntary acts, both publicly and privately. // (الحامِدونَ) Those who praise
They constantly praise and thank Allah in all situations, whether in times of ease or hardship. //(السّائِحونَ) Those who fast / strive
Classical scholars explained this as those who fast, and it was also said to mean those who travel for worship, seeking knowledge, reflection, or striving in the cause of Allah.//(الرّاكِعون) Those who bow
They perform the bowing (rukūʿ) in prayer with humility and reverence toward Allah. // (السّاجِدونَ) Those who prostrate
They frequently prostrate in prayer, showing complete submission, as prostration is the closest position a servant is to Allah.// (الآمِرونَبِالمَعروفِ) (Al-Āmirūna bil-Maʿrūf)– Those who enjoin what is right
They encourage and call others to everything that Allah has commanded: goodness, righteousness, and upright behavior.// (وَالنّاهونَعَنِ المُنكَر ﴿(Wan-Nāhūna ʿanil-Munkar)– Those who forbid what is wrong
They prevent and advise against everything that Allah has forbidden, using wisdom, kindness, and proper manners.//(وَالحافِظونَلِحُدودِ اللّهِ) (Wal-Ḥāfiẓūna li-Ḥudūdillāh) – Those who guard the limits of Allah
They carefully observe Allah’s laws, respecting His boundaries of what is lawful and unlawful, without overstepping them.// (وَبَشِّرِ المُؤمِنينَ) (Wa Bashshiril-Muʾminīn) – And give glad tidings to the believers
A divine promise of good news—Paradise, forgiveness, and Allah’s pleasure—for those who truly embody these qualities.
