I have type 1 diabetes. I always thought it was caused by trauma(for me specifically) and is there permanently as a result 🤷🏻♀️(when the immune system attacks the pancreatic cells and is unable to produce insulin. —assuming the nervous system has an impact on the immune system)

You can’t leave out high trauma/stress event(s) = nervous system dysregulation. Not only can it trigger autoimmune, it can also keep flares cycling if not addressed.
