Hot-Money 1st things mentioned is why he wasn't the better choice. They(Noah & Aly)LOVED eachother, and lived a happy comfortable life. They weren't living under a bridge here 😆 Was Lon a BAD guy...no. He wasn't the love of her life.

Noah made her feel alive and Lon gave her stability. The point is that she had every right to pic, because once you’re an adult, you get to do that lol. But as the mom, I do get why she was worried. I’d be worried as hell if I was doing everything I can to give her a better life and she’s gonna throw it away for a man.

Noah was messy, yeah, but he DID for Allie. Her love language had to be acts of service and not gifts. That is why I think she chose Noah over Lon, even though he was a safe bet.

The part in the Notebook that really bothers me in the movie is where Noah climbs the Ferris wheel and threatens to fall to his death unless Allie goes out with him while she is on a date. 🚩 emotional manipulation.
