Every MLB team has multi million dollar state of the art acadamies in the DR. They have direct access to major league training, coaches, connections, and facilities before 16. DR is literally sponsored by the MLB they are not struggling.

They get to lie about their age and get paid extra for it. In the U.S. we have gym teachers “coaching baseball” for extra money. With all the expenses in the U.S. most of us can’t pay for the travel teams to get scouted. In the DR you can just focus on baseball get shelter and food for free and trained by an MLB franchise. On top of that if they feel they are that good enough they won’t even go to school. They have no excuse while in the U.S. we’re better off playing another sport and have to balance that with school work.

These kids play ball just about 10 hours a day + from the age of 5 to about 18 or until they are signed or they age out of getting signed..They have great trainers and they attend school on the weekends while training 5-7 days a week..Imagine how good these kids will get..Only problem is once they age out of getting signed which is about 18 yrs old that’s it,there is no college ball to play with the possibility of getting drafted..I wish I could bring 10-12 there’s to the states and have them live here and play high school ball from about 8th grade until they graduate so this way they come here ready to play but get trained here as well and then be able to play college ball when they graduate 🤷🏽♂️
