I’ve had insomnia since childhood and I finally sought treatment last year. I was prescribed Quviviq (Daridorexant) and blue cross blue shield federal would not cover it💔

I have a theory it's not popular cause it just puts you to sleep, without any feeling of relaxation and calmness that the Z-class drugs provide. People crave that *chill*

I have had chronic insomnia for years and have tried everything. I’ve asked my GP for this twice now but told no. What do you advise?

How easy is it to get? I struggle to sleep after my last night shift, it cripples me for days , I don’t know why it happens it’s like self sabotage, wouldn’t be allowed it to take once every eight days on my last shift ?

This made such a difference for me, however GPs seem to gate keep it and I had to fight for it. I image that’s to do with the cost to the NHS
