@cbcbritishcolumbia: A tenant has moved into the newly built rock reef at the mouth of North Vancouver's Lynn Creek. Troy Charles recently reported on the construction of the reef habitat, and now thousands of baby bull kelp have been planted at the site with hopes they form an underwater forest. #cbc #cbcnews #bc #kelp #nature #climatechange #environment #northvancouver #britishcolumbia #lynn creek

This is inspiring to see restoration projects that pair science with traditional First Nations knowledge. I love seeing how successful these kind of projects are and I am looking forward to updates on this bull kelp project.

Only western knowledge thinks they can just fix nature. Clean up the mess or fix up what’s impacting the plants. Crazy
