There are no homes in my town for under 700 K. That is a $7000 a month mortgage. My income is in the top 20% of the entire country and I bring in 4500 a month. It’s not realistic.

luxuries are more accessible than necessities, plastic surgery, high end makeup, designer clothes used to be major investments and sectors gate kept by price while necessities like houses and cars were accessible to the masses now its the reverse

Even at 35 I don’t desire to own a house yet. I’m still trying to afford my own apartment. I’ve only lived with roommates. Houses are a huge responsibility. With apartments life is more flexible.
