@samhairwolfryder: Happy New Year. Wishing you all an abundance of fulfilment, purpose and peace. My friend John was talking to me recently about the idea of living in the ‘proleptic tense’. It’s the act of bringing our future hopes into the present and in a way is the ultimate show of faith because you live as if what you are anticipating has already come to pass - you go through your days doubtless, steadfast and certain. It’s what expectant parents do when they name a child before that child has been born. Isn’t that beautiful?! Ever since that conversation with John I’ve been doing my best to live in the proleptic tense. I had a bit of a wavy year for multiple reasons but when the guys and I stepped out onto that Wembley Arena stage and showed that room of amazing people who had supported us since day 1 what we had been up to and how hard we’d all worked to make it happen with such little resources it was clear to me that in that moment of pure presence we were putting a flag in the ground and saying we’re ready for whatever comes next 🙏 Quick thing…if you happen to be out there with a path you want to follow but feel held back by the worry of how you’ll be perceived, whether by those close to you, colleague’s or complete strangers on the internet, I just want to say, go do it! #2025 #yearontiktok
