The Tide Child trilogy is phenomenal, glad to see it on BookTok for once. RJ Barker is an awesome author. Highly recommend getting into series by Robert Jackson Bennett as well, his Divine Cities and Shadow of the Leviathan series are brilliant.

I appreciate your recs but Gods of the Wyrdwood was not it for me. So many aspects are either not explained at all or over explained to an extent that makes me crazy. There's a scene where the MC is releasing an arrow that seems to go on for days. I couldn't get thru it. The storyline has potential but the writing seems all over the place unfortunately.
