Ok I did a similar recipe and when I did cold cubed butter it wouldn’t mix in very well which I thought was the point but then when they baked they were so greasy from the pockets of butter

Not sure what her fascination is with milk chocolate chips. I am thinking she likes her chocolate on the mild side. Semi sweet and dark chocolate give a much stronger chocolate flavor.

I’ve always used a combination of milk and semi sweet. I usually do a 1:3 ratio of milk to semisweet, and they’re excellent! I do it in every recipe that calls for chocolate chips.
